Ghost Flower BTS: Behind the Scent
We take a look Behind the Scent for our bohemian spicy-floral, Ghost Flower, with Perfume-Creator, Beckielou Brown.
An evocative scent that captures your heart and imagination. Rich exotic heady and complex, Ghost Flower centers around a creamy White Lily enveloped in layers of incense smoke, spices an unexpected unripe tropical fruit note. This composition is inspired by my childhood, the scent of old books, burning resins, leather, sun scorched red dusty earth: an olfactory interpretation of the layered textures, colours and sounds emanating from a sun-drenched 70’s bohemian hideaway.
Unripe tropical fruit
Fleeting fruity brightness, an almost neon touch to this deeply layered scent.
White Lily accord
Enveloping richness of a Lily in full bloom – creamy, sweet, full-bodied floral with a subtle spiciness at its heart.
Bulgarian Damascena Rose
Fresh wet pink petal rose – touch of green waxiness, adding a subtle, delicate layer of floralcy to the leading Lily.
Precious Saffron Absolute lends leathery depth.
A blend of Myrhh and Frankincense, both Carterii and Serrata varieties in rare specialist extractions which beautifully highlight the uplifting and sweet facets without any sharp notes.
Built around facets of Guaic Wood: deep smokey burning wood with hint a of tobacco.
Discover The Scent
Bohemian romanticism, hedonism and lost virtue. Delighting in difference, fragmented musings emanate. A momentary neon brightness illuminates a sensory conversation eluding to a fashioned White Lily decorated with maximalist layered textures; an eclectic atmosphere of unbound freedom.
The green vibrancy of unripe fruit choreographs movement into an expression of contrasting olfactory colour, where facets interlace to form the reimagining of a Lily, unyielding in nature. Erudite and rapturous, the creamy full-bodied floral sits at the heart of this creative union. An elevating combination of intense resins possess a powerful energy and rhythm, amid a ritualistic entrancing smoke, idle in the air.
